What is this Top-link used for?

The top-link is connected to the top centre arm of the 3 point linkage system on a tractor’s back end.

A top-link is used to connect an implement to the tractor’s (3PL) three point linkage (As in photo.)

Turning the centre tube on the top-link clockwise or anti-clockwise (with the tommy bar provided) extends or shortens the length of the top link. This in turn levels the attached implement with the ground surface.

When hooking on different implements (e.g. A Multec Log Splitter or Multec Transport box) the Top-link may need adjusted to make shorter or longer to level the implement up with the tractor and with the ground.
