Comparisons to our Bigger PD1 & PD2-3 Post Drivers:

• Suitable for 25hp+ Compact / Smaller Tractors.
• Maintaining our strong & heavy duty design.
• We have kept the hammer as heavy as possible while reducing the overall weight so it can be used safely on smaller tractors.
• The Hammer weight has been reduced from 350kg to 250kg (Still a great heavy hammer weight at 250kg).
• Overall mast height reduced to just under 10ft from 10ft 6″.
• 3PL Frame made narrower (30″ outside to outside) to suit Category 1 lower arms.
• Shorter wire/nylon rope fitted to gain an increased hammer height for putting in taller posts.

 

Our Compact Post Drivers are now available in the following 2 models with optional add-ons.

• Compact PD1- Rigid
• Compact PD2- Side Tilt

Compact PD1 Rigid Post Driver:

• Three-point linkage (3PL).
• Cat 1 & Cat 2  3PL Holes.
• Tested and CE Marked.
• 10″ Pulley wheel & wire/nylon rope system.
• Self greasing system
• Hammer weight: Approx. 250kg
• Overall Weight: Approx. 425kg
• One Hydraulic ram: Main Hammer Ram.
• Control from inside the tractor cab (No External Control Valve).

 

Optional adds-on for your Compact PD1 Rigid Post Driver:

• PD1: Keep it standard (As described above).
• PD1-1: Add an external One Lever Control Valve (For controlling the hammer from outside the cab).
• PD1-2: Add a Power Top-Link Ram & an external Two Lever Control Valve.

 

Compact PD2 Side Tilt Post Driver:

• Three-point linkage (3PL).
• Cat 1 & Cat 2 3PL Holes.
• Tested and CE Marked.
• 10″ Pulley wheel & wire/nylon rope system.
• Self greasing system.
• Hammer weight: Approx. 250kg
• Overall Weight: Approx. 475kg
• Two Lever External Control Valve (For Outside Control).
• Side Tilt Hydraulic Ram. (Great for working on steep, hilly ground)
• Main Hammer Ram.

Optional adds-on for your Compact PD2 Side Tilt Post Driver:

• PD2-2: Keep it standard (As described above).
• PD2-3: Add a Power Top-Link Ram & Upgrade to an external Three Lever Control Valve.

 

Colour options are as follows: (Other colours on special request).

• Multec Blue (Similar to Ford Tractor Blue).
• Red (Similar to Massey Ferguson Red).
• Green (Similar to John Deere Green).
• Orange (Similar to Kubota).
• Multec Black (C/w contrasting Blue rams)

Why do you need it?

Our Compact Post Drivers are the most affordable from the Multec Range and also include the unique post cap with spikes to hold and prevent post damage from the hammer and this also acts as a safety feature.

Order & Delivery information (Please Read):

After placing an order, you will receive a direct email within 48 hours with your “Order Dates” which will be as follows:

• Payment Date: Date of cleared funds.
• Dispatch Date: 15 to 21 workings days from cleared funds.
• Arrival Date: 2 working days from dispatch.

Please Note: You will need to have access for the delivery lorry, arrange a way of unloading & sign for arrival.
